Description:
The test fails on some platforms as indicated by

It might relate to 
Bug #32672  	"Start of Master cluster failed" which mentions the test as `affected'.

How to repeat:
See the description.

According to xref the test is used to fail with timeout. E.g one of the most
oldest per xref shows

rpl_ndb_innodb_trans           [ fail ]  timeout

One dated by 2008-12-28 15:25:40 may specify more info which is about
cluster initialization:

rpl_ndb_innodb_trans           [ fail ]

ERROR: Cluster Master was not installed ok
mtr_ping_with_timeout(): At least one server is alive.

Seems it is really related to bug#32672.
We need to get debug information about possible reasons of timeout.
