Description:
I would like to see a 'Snap to grid' option in the global Workbench settings (probably within the 'Diagram' options pane).

I find the first thing I have to do every time I create a new diagram is toggle that 'snap to grid' toolbar icon and it would be nice if I could make that setting globally and have WB remember it.

Fixed as of the upcoming Workbench 6.1.1 release, and here is the changelog entry:

A global "Arrange", "Align to Grid" preference was added, which affects
the "Snap To Grid" option in the EER Diagram editor.
