Thank you for the problem report. How much RAM do you have on this machine? Check also Event viewer for unusual messages during this period.

Hi, I have 3GB of ram. It seems that the problem cause was that I first uninstalled 5.1 version and it's services (and I didn't reboot the machine after that). After rebooting and reinstalling the 5.4.1 it went better but I have to start the mysql instance from the command line (net start ...) since the instance wizard wasn't able to start the service?

Thank you for the feedback. Your last comment: "After rebooting and reinstalling the 5.4.1 it went better but I have to start the mysql instance from the command line (net start ...) since the instance wizard wasn't able to start the service?". The service was created? and have you selected with automatic start?. Thanks in advance.
