Please update mysql-administrator to use gtkmm-2.4 instead of gtkmm-2.0.

I've tried changing the code to work with gtkmm-2.4, but there are too many incompatible changes and since gtkmm-2.2 is still the most common version, I think it's better to stick to it for now.  Also, supporting both would require more effort than we can afford.

We will probably be switching to gtkmm-2.4 in the (not so distant) future, though.

There is no rush in the switch. I agree, supporting two versions is not the best idea. :)
