Description:
my sql service can not start in windows sp2. 
error 1067 appears first time when apply security settings and then re install server and same problem appear when start service. this is major problem to me.
 hava any solution ,.. pls help me as soon as possible

Thank you for the problem report. What exact versions, 5.x.y and 6.0.x, you had tried to install? Do you install MySQL server as a user who is a member of Administrators group?

This relates to EOL (no longer supported) versions of MySQL Server. Furthermore, the old plain msi installers have been superseded by the MySQL Installer for Windows. Thus closing.
