Thank you for the problem report. Verified just as described with 5.0.30 and 5.1.13.

Having a similar problem using the 5.2.11 beta version on Ubuntu 9.10. Finding or replacing text don't work on the text editor. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open the query editor. 2. Press Ctrl+Shift+F. 3. Enter text on the Find textbox. 4. Press Find previous or Find next. No text is highlighted. 5. Enter any substring from the query you are editing on the Find textbox. 6. Enter any text on the Replace tetxbox and press the Replace All or the Replace button. No text is being replaced.

I just realized this bug exists also in the old Query Browser, for the Linux version. Was the same base code used?

As of MySql workbench 5.2.20 - the find text dialog does not work at all for me. I enter text, hit the find buttin, it doesn't find it. nothing gets highlighted.
