I have the same problem. Previous installing 1.0.6 Beta I have installed older version of administrator. And removed them before installing 1.0.6 Beta.

I noticed that the older version did not complety uninstalled all files, so I manually removed the old installation directory C:\Program\MySQL\GUITools.

Now I can not remove old backup project. Created in the new and old version. Is there I bug workaround to remove old project where are them stored? I searched the registry after the project names and in the filesystem. But no hit.

This have also unpresent sideeffect. You can not schedule backup project, since you cannot save them properly.

I did not have any Mysql Administrator installed before so it should work but it does not. Do you have any sugestions how to solve that problem with backuping mysql database?

I've experienced similiar issue on a XP sp1.

However, a little digging turns out that the job was scheduled. It's stored in C:\WINDOWS\Tasks, where it should be.

The job name was a little strange - AT1 (or something similar to that, less than 4 characters long).
The command line is quite long: 232 characters.

My other problem was that I can NOT add more than one job.
I added a daily job, then click on New to add a Monthly job, daily job disappear from the list.
A little digging shows that both daily and monthly job's backup file (.bak) are stored in the "C:\Documents and Settings\[user]\Application Data\MySQL" folder.
The original (mbp) file disappear.

I manually copy those .bak file to .mbp file, then they show up on mySQL Administrator.
However, I still can NOT edit either one of the backup's setting.

It seems that MySQL Administrator 1.0.7 Beta fixes the probelm.
Windwos XP sp1, MySQL core: 4.0.0a-debug.

I wasn't able to repeat with 1.0.7 version. Please upgrade your version
and test again.
