Description:
As I used to utilize the Regex Text Importer tool included in Query Browser with plenty of satisfaction, i was deceived when constating this tool didn't run anymore in QB 1.2.17.
The three buttons, E.G. "Preview", "Store SQL to script" and "Execute SQL" are active but no action is ran except opening a save dialog box for the second button.

I didn't change anything since previous versions of QB except file content.
I've been trying with other regular expressions which did run before and get no more positive results.

Only 117 Bugs here.  ..Some so darn old.  I'm new to MySQL.  Still looking at it as a possible solution.  Not to impressed with the bug fixing going on.  Noticed one person who had submitted a bug a year ago and it's still not fixed.  I suggest you change the "Severty:" type (above) from "Non critical" to "Frustrating".  It appears to me that you guys don't really care if this product has maddning bugs or not.  Do you?

The regular expression feature was an experimental feature and we disabled it because it didn't work correct.

We are on the way to implement full functionality of MySQL Query Browser into MySQL Workbench and won't add this feature to Query Browser anymore. More informations about supported platforms you will find here:
