Is the information provided here insufficient? : http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql-monitor/2.0/en/mem-global-settings.html#mem-data-purge

MC, that page makes no effort to explain how *frequently* data is purged. Is it done once per minute, once every 5 minutes, once per day, etc.?

Hi, I think this is distinction between the purge frequency, and the actual purge occurs; is that right? For example, if the purge interval is set to 'daily', you want to know when during each day the purge is performed. Is that right?

I've updated the documentation with a note of the frequency of the purge (basically a purge is attempted every minute). An FAQ entry has been added as well.
