Description:
Hello,

I recently switched from TIger to Leopard and did a fresh install of MySQL 5.1.30. This worked as well as the Administrator tool. MySQL is run via socket connected to localhost. Unfortunately the Query Browser tool does not work anymore (it worked in 2 cases creating tables and loading data and running queries). Now, each time I try to create a table it crashes exactly at the same situation:

I create whatever number of columns, as soon I like to type in the last column's datatype, the cursor freezes and subsequently the application crashes.

gma

How to repeat:
create a table, columns, type in datatype for last column

Many thanks for writing a bug report. We are on the way to implement full functionality of MySQL Query Browser into MySQL Workbench. Unfortunately you are using an unsupported platform. More informations about supported platforms you will find here:

I too have experienced this problem with both MySQL Query Browser and MySQL Administrator. Although I can understand why, it is too bad OSX 10.5 (Leopard) is not currently supported.
