Description:
From a customer issue: I think it would be great for us if it would be possible to configure in some manner the MEM agent IP to be shown in the trap info, because our MySQL servers use virtual IPs managed by a cluster software, and receiving these virtual agent IPs with the traps would make the things more clear to the support staff when problems occur.

How to repeat:
N/A

Suggested fix:
Option in the MEM agent configuration file that allows the setting of the IP address to be shown in the SNMP trap info.

This appears related, if not identical, to bug#43738.

Added ability to have SNMP traps act like they are being proxied and show that they are from the agent.

Verified fixed in service manager build 2.1.0.1036.

An entry has been added to the 2.1.0 changelog:

Agent IP address was not included in SNMP traps. It was also not possible to set these Agent IP addresses through a configuration, which would have been useful for situations where the Agent could not determine the monitored server IP address, such as when virtual IP addresses were used.
