The problem is still in the version 5.1.32 on Win2003. Any idea?

Andrew, Is this a new installation of 5.1.32 or you had upgraded from older 5.x.y?

Hi, I ve the same problem on Windows server 2008 (X64). it's a new installation using the msi executable. The installation work fine (1st part), but can not start the MySQL Service (in the configuration wizzard) I also try to start the service using the Windows service console. same issue. error 0 or can not start MySQL Server. Any idea ?

There has been no feedback for several years, and we are closing this report now for the following two reasons: * MySQL Server 5.1 is an obsolete version of MySQL Server * For more recent MySQL Server versions, the config wizard is no longer available, and the MySQL Installer for Windows is the recommended way to install MySQL Server on Windows
