Is this a new installation or you are upgrading from some previous 5.x.y version?

Andrew,

Is this a new installation of 5.1.32 or you had upgraded from older 5.x.y?

Hi,
I ve the same problem on Windows server 2008 (X64).
it's a new installation using the msi executable.

The installation work fine (1st part), but can not start the MySQL Service (in the configuration wizzard)

I also try to start the service using the Windows service console.
same issue. error 0 or can not start MySQL Server.

Any idea ?

Thank you for the bug report. There has been no feedback for several years, and we are closing this report now for the following two reasons:
* MySQL Server 5.1 is an obsolete version of MySQL Server
* For more recent MySQL Server versions, the config wizard is no longer available, and the MySQL Installer for Windows is the recommended way to install MySQL Server on Windows
