Description:
I almost greped to the whole documentation of MySQL 5.1.

Always when there is talking about binlog-format just the word server is given. For a user it isn't clear if binlog-format should be set in master or slave.

It would be nice to replace here server with master server or something like this.

The only hint, that binlog-format has to be set in master that I could find in our documentation was somewhere at the cluster section but no hint at replication section.

How to repeat:

I'm going to close this without doing anything. The binlog format isn't specific to either master or slave, because you can have the binary log enabled on either type of server. binlog-format should be set on the server that you want the setting to apply to, like most options.
