Description:
I moved a domain to another server with a fresh/patched copy of Windows Server 2008. The domain included a WordPress blog. I installed the latest versions of WordPress, MySQL and PHP on the new Windows Server 2008. Everything went smoothly, the blog is working but when I attempted to edit one of the WordPress tables the table I wanted to edit would not appear. The edit choice appears on the menu when I right-click the table but the table to be edited never appears. I tried editing tables within the mysql catalog and the test catalog but the same thing happens.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling MySQL and MySQL Administrator ... still the same problem.

When I click on the edit table menu choice the cursor changes from an arrow to the rotating hourglass and after a few seconds the cursor becomes an arrow again but the table to be edited does not appear. No error message given.

I did not have any trouble editing the WordPress tables or any other table on my other Windows 2008 server running the previous version of MySQL and the Administrator.

How to repeat:
Newly formatted drive, fresh/updated copy of Windows 2008 Server. Web server role installed. Install the latest version of PHP, MySQL for Windows (32-bit) and MySQL Administrator and WordPress. Try to edit any MySQL catalog table.
