Description:
When reinstalling a MySQL server in a location that contains previous datafiles, the Configuration Wizard is unable to configure a server instance, saying:

Cannot create windows service for MySQL: error 0

whereas the event viewer reports that the instance has been started and the mysql client reports that the instance is operational.

How to repeat:
Install 6.0.9, then uninstall
Install 6.0.9 again, and complete the wizard.

Upgrading from 6.0.8 to 6.0.9 without uninstalling and manually stopping the server is not affected.

Thank you for the bug report. We are closing this report now for two related reasons:

* MySQL Server 6.0 is an unreleased, unsupported and obsolete version of MySQL Server
* For newer MySQL Server versions, the config wizard is no longer available, and the MySQL Installer for Windows is the recommended way to install MySQL Server on Windows
