Description:
The catalina.out file can grow without limits in size

-rw-r--r-- 1 user group 9.6G Jan  2 11:45 catalina.out

How to repeat:
Run the service manager for several days and look in the folder

./monitor/apache-tomcat/logs/

Suggested fix:
rotate the catalina.out file

See Bug#41439, fixed >=2.0.2.7126.  The solution isn't to rotate catalina.out, but to not log there in the first place.
