Description:
I installed 5.0.27 of MySQL Workbench and it worked for a time. Now the program has started crashing every time it is run, somewhere between the splash screen and the main app window being opened. The "Would you like to send an error report to Microsoft" box is displayed, and when you close that the app shuts down.

I've tried uninstalling 5.0.27 and installing 5.0.29, and the same thing happens. Someone suggested that it may be a problem with the default DB model file that was being opened, but I've deleted it from the disk and the problem still occurs

How to repeat:
On my computer, this happens every time I run the software. I have no idea what happened immediately before it failed and no way of reproducing it on any other computer.

I notice from the email that the "Affects customer: no" field has been set. I'm not sure how to set this, or if it makes any difference, but for the record I'm a customer and I'm affected.

Many thanks for writing a bug report.

When you are really a support customer so please open a customer support case in our support tool.

The affects customer is for our support customers and is set when a support customer hit a bug.

Our experience is that checking file system and repairing the disc will help with your issue. Please try this and let us know if it would help or if you still will get the crashes.
