Description:
when the code dump facility is enabled it does not show up in show global variables.

How to repeat:
[safe_mysqld]
core-file-size = unlimited
user = root

[mysqld]

port          = 3330
socket        = /home/mysql/tmp/mysql-3330.sock
core-file

mysql> show global variables like '%core%';
Empty set (0.00 sec)

Suggested fix:
in an ideal perfect world I would like to see something like:
