Description:
I'm using Redhat 9 (and previously 8) with the standard gnome/bluecurve desktop.

When I launch mysqlcc, it appears minimised on the task bar rather than taking focus.

How to repeat:
Launch mysqlcc

Suggested fix:
When launched, MySQL CC should grab focus and appear maximised or restored as appropriate.

Hi!

Can you tell me if it still happens when you do the following:

Launch mysqlcc
maximize mysqlcc
close mysqlcc
launch mysqlcc again. <- shouldn't appear minimized anymore.

Hi Jorge

Actually, just the opposite. If I maximise it, then close it, when I reopen it, it appears minimised and doesn't grab focus.

If I "unmaximise" it, then close it, it reopens unmaximised and grabs focus.

I'm seeing same thing. If the previous state when it was closed was 'maximized', it will open 'minimized' on taskbar. If previous state when it was closed was 'un-maximized', it will open 'un-maximized' which is desired.
