Description:
When I run MySQL 4.0.15 with ByteFx overnight on a localhost I get the exception:

"Unknown transmission status: sequence out of order"

What are the causes of this error?

How to repeat:
When I run MySQL 4.0.15 with ByteFx overnight on a localhost.

What version of the provider are you using? This was a problem with older versions. Can you give me specific steps that will reproduce?
[14 Jul 2004 19:55] Kevin Johnsrude
Upgrading to MySqlClient 0.7.6 solved this problem. Thanks!

Thank you for taking the time to report a problem. Unfortunately
you are not using a current version of the product your reported a
problem with -- the problem might already be fixed. Please download
a new version from http://www.mysql.com/downloads/

If you are able to reproduce the bug with one of the latest versions,
please change the version on this bug report to the version you
tested and change the status back to "Open". Again, thank you for
your continued support of MySQL.

Hi Reggie - I discovered the same problem with my application today - for the first time. "ByteFX.Data.MySqlClient.MySqlException: Unknown transmission status: sequence out of order". I am using ByteFX.MySqlClient.dll 0.7.6.15073. Any thoughts or help for this?

I am using ByteFx 0.76, .net 1.1 and this bug is still happening to me.
Is this my fault or is this bug not perfect fixed?
