I have also had this problem when dropped a catalog using MySQL Administrator. I have found that although it appears to have been dropped, when you go into MySQL in a command line window, the database is still there and has to be deleted manually.

If I click on User Administrator and I select Schema Privileges I am getting the following error: Access violation at address 004A70A45 in module ‘MySQL Administrator.exe’. Read of address 69746300.
