I should have mentioned that this may or may not be a problem depending on how often you go back and edit your text objects. Should you add more text to an existing object then it may overflow the box.

text objects aren't manually resizable (indicated by the filled black handles when selected) the text-objects should autosize to fit the content.

Does not resize for me either, after editing text, or closing and opening the project, or using the resize buttons on the corners.
