What about "Delete" in context menu? If you delete object on the diagram, you get a dialog box asking "Should correspondent database objects be deleted with the figures?". Just say "No", and it will be removed from the diagram, but will stay in catalog. Am I missing something?

You got a point there. It's just that 'delete' sounds so permanent... But thanks, that'll work for me. Closed this issue.
