Description:

"Error: Invalid Object Name" during Forward Engineer SQL Alter Script

when running version 5.0.25 build 3427 for windows xp

I can supply .sql files that create this bug if needed.

How to repeat:
choose

File > Export > Forward Engineer SQL Alter Script

and provide it a .sql file to compare with the current model

I get a window:

"Error: Invalid Object Name"

and the SQL diff tree does not appear.

Suggested fix:
revert to version 5.0.21 the error goes away

I have not tried intervening versions.

I can not repeat this with 5.0.25.

Please, try to repeat with a newer version, 5.0.26, and inform about the results.

Two updates:

(1) I was unable myself to reproduce on a fresh install of 5.0.25. So, I guess that the issue was that my install of 5.0.25 was somehow different. It had been installed "on top of" previous versions in windows.

(2) I completely uninstalled version 5.0.25, using windows add/remove programs, and installed 5.0.26 and again was not able to reproduce.

So, I would suggest, mark this closed. If anyone else experiences something like it, have them perform a complete windows remove as first attempt at resolution.

Thanks for the great tool....
