Description:
It would be nice to be able to access a group or host directly from any Dashboard page

How to repeat:
n.a

Suggested fix:
Text box where I can enter the hostname or server group and only see the resulting server (list of servers) on the screen.

It looks like this was fixed in 3.0

There is text box for filtering in the asset selector. So filtering on instance is possible.
