Description:
If you have an object from canvas in your paste-buffer and you are trying to paste (using Ctrl+V) stuff into some other editor/pane inside WB you always end up adding objects to your canvas. this is especially annoying when your other window hides the canvas (so you are not aware of the problem (i.e. having a GRT-script file open). It simply makes you think that Ctrl-V doesn't work (often trying several times because you may not hit the key firmly enough). when you then come back to your canvas you see that every Ctrl-V while working in the script editor pasted the objects in paste buffer on the canvas.

How to repeat:
- open a diagram and select an object on the canvas (put an empty table there if you started from scratch)
- now click into the description pane and type some chars
- highlight what you have written and press Ctrl+C
- Press Ctrl+V once, or if you like several times
notices that the object on the canvas gets pasted every Ctrl+C-press (if you do that in a script file you can't even see the duplication first hand, you only see the mes when you switch back to your model later)

fixed for the case mentioned in how-to-reprocude section, but still a problem with the script-code-editor.

I'd like to add a "me too" on this, using Workbench 5.2.16 on Linux (Debian Testing using Ubuntu 9.10 .deb package).

I tripped over it using the model editor with a VIEW.

I added a new view to a model, started editing the text of the view, went to use copy-paste within the text editor control (using the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V) and didn't see any text pasted. I tried a couple of times more thinking 'hrm, maybe I pressed the wrong keys' but then when I later closed the editor I saw that about 5 copies of my view had appeared in the model.
