Description:
Hello I am working on Sugarcrm 4.5.1e, and using the MySql the version which I am using is the 5.0.51a and PHP 5.2.5. When I trying to insert the Spanish characters
they are not getting saved in the database and retrieved back.

Example: If I am trying to save the word "candidatós", its gettign saved as "candidat". My collation type is UTF-8. Please do guide me in fixing this task as this is very important and urgent task.Thanks for your time in advance.

How to repeat:

Thank you for the report.

But version 5.0.51 is a bit old. Please upgrade to current version 5.0.67 and if problem still exists provide repeatable test case showing problem is MySQL server and not the applicatiion:

1. Output of SHOW CREATE TABLE for problem table
2. Output of SHOW VARIABLES LIKE '%char%' and SHOW VARIABLES LIKE '%coll%'
3. Query you have problem with.

My server is hosted on the serve details I have given in my earlier mail. Please I need some solution. Plz go give some solution to fix the bug.I have seen some bug related to Japanese version n u have given solution. I have tried the same about still I could not get my error fixed. Plz Help.
