Description:
There is no documentation about how to write a procedure -- I mean 
procedures such as ANALYSE, not stored procedures.

Section 23.3.2 actually tells "the only documentation for this is the source".

How to repeat:
feature request

This form of procedure is not intended for end users and as such will not be documented in the reference manual. In this case the source must indeed serve as the documentation.
