Description:
4.0.20 for OS X has apparently been released without an .dmg installer.

The OS X installation section of the manual specifically states that it covers only the official .dmg 
installation.

I have never installed MySQL before so I am completely lost.

How to repeat:
Ask a novice to install 4.0.20 on OS X.

Suggested fix:
Re release with .dmg or add installation instructions for OS X.

4.0.20 is currently available as a .dmg file.  I was able to download it, install it and use it.
