Description:
Everytime I active some of the database/tabel selection parameter like "replicate_do_" and "replicate_ignore_", the replication stops.
When disabling these commands, the replication work fine again. So, very repeateble.

I had the replication running with "replicate_do_" and "replicate_ignore_" working fine under 3.23.5x.

When upgrading to 4.0.12 when it was released, the replication stopped funtion with "replicate_do_" and "replicate_ignore_". I spend about 40 hours at that time testing what ever possible,
but did not succeded and also did not finalized my bugreport - I found a way to overcome the tables not to be replicated, for being able to spend time on what I'm surposed to do.

Now Im setting up new server, and have upgraded to 4.0.18 - but the issue remains. I have spend some hours again, but the story seams to be the same. It might be a parameter in my "my.ini", but
I can not figure out which - and basicly the replication setup for 4.018 and onwards are the same basics as I learned under 3.23.5x.

All requested files should be included in the ZIP - otherwise please let me know. I have only removed the IPs and the user/password-names form the files, and otherwise I expect these issue to keep confidential.

Please forward an emailadress, to which I can send the ZIP

Thanks and best regards
Peter W Rasmussen

Hi,

I have looked at the files you uploaded (thanks, there are many things in it :). However, I am still unclear what happens. What we would need is a small testcase like this:
"with this my.cnf, when I do this statement on master, it is replicated to the slave; with that my.cnf, when I do that statement on master, it is not replicated to the slave". It is somehow already in the files you sent, but I fail to make it really clear; hence this request for a leaner testcase.
Thanks much in advance.

Regards,
Guilhem
