Description:
I tried to update MySQL Workbench with the internal update tool. The download was completed and then it tried to install the new version, but Workbench did not closed and the following error message was printed:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

How to repeat:
I'm not sure if this happens by others. Maybe you can repeat it by updating Workbench with the internal tool. I have opend a working *.mwb file, created with 5.0.22

Thanks for the bug report. It's fixed in forthcoming v5.0.24 but since previous versions contain this bug, you will see it until v5.0.24 (or greater) is installed.

Note: In either case user must ensure that Workbench is closed before proceeding with installation. For example user still needs to close application manually if open document has pending changes. In this case WB will show dialog asking about saving/discarding changes when trying to close it.
