Description:
When creating a mysql account for bug reporting, only the following fields are required:

http://www.mysql.com/register.php
Register (Register for a MySQL.com Account)
Email Address *
Password *
Password (again) *
First Name *
Last Name *
Country *

Later logged id, if I wanted edit my profile, in order to update some information (change email), it is not possible just modify the desired data, since several other fields are required:

http://www.mysql.com/profile/
Profile (Edit Your MySQL.com Account)
ZIP/Postal Code *
Company/Organization *
Primary Business Activity *
Job Function *
How long have you used MySQL? *
Are you in production with MySQL? *
Which best describes you? *
What is most valuable to help manage your deployment of MySQL? *

So I preferred creating a new account with the new data instead of answering the survey/enquiry/questionary just for changing some basic information.

I only regret the info about previous reported issues will be associated with the older account.

Regards

How to repeat:
Create account with all fields, login, edit profile, change email, do not fill-in NEW mandatory fields.

Suggested fix:
Separate editing basic information from getting other user information...
