A note has been added to the documentation. Setting back to 'verified' so that the issue can be addressed in a future release.

Mark Matthews writes: Will disabling the "enable" checkbox have any meaning for clients like connector plugins? They aren't agents, they could be installed at any time after the agent, so how would one detect that they're there and able to send data? Should we allow enable/disable per "source"?

Mark Leith writes: Enabling in the UI shows the "intention" that you want to collect query data for that instance - it should not reflect the setting of a specific query analyzer source, as there are multiple ones now. Please ensure that what "On" represents is properly documented in the settings, and troubleshooting documentation for this.

The documentation has been updated to show that the 'On' is just that QA is enabled, but that info may not necessarily be being supplied to the monitor.
