Description:
Because of change in number of local checkpoints between Cluster 6.3.6 and 6.3.7, online upgrades are supported, but not online downgrades. This ought to be reflected in the output of ndb_show_compat.

Note: I'm already incorporating the compatibility info in the revision currently in progress for the upgrade/downgrade docs, but it would be good to have this in the server source as well.

How to repeat:
Run ndb_show_compat from telco-6.3 or telco-6.4 tree.

Suggested fix:
Update file(s) read by ndb_show_compat.

Discussed with Jonas, who verified and asked me to assign to Magnus.

NOTE: Number of local checkpoints was reduced from 3 to 2 in 6.3.8, not 6.3.7.

Updated synopsis to reflect this.

Rewrite the compatibility tables in the product so that they are easy to understand and edit and can be printed in an easy way.

Thank you for taking the time to report a problem. Unfortunately you are not using a current version of the product you reported a problem with -- the problem might already be fixed. Please download a new version from http://www.mysql.com/downloads/

If you are able to reproduce the bug with one of the latest versions, please change the version on this bug report to the version you tested and change the status back to "Open". Again, thank you for your continued support of MySQL.
