Description:
If we create a backup in MySQL-Administrator (on german windows xp) of a table with a binary column and then restore this backup with MySql-Administrator on another machine which is windows server 2003 english, then the import fails an mysql crashes. But it works fine when we restore it on the same system.

The error only happens with the record we have attached in the dump-file.

We also tested in with phpmyadmin and also there the import fails.

Hope you can repeat this on your system.

Thanks

Beat

How to repeat:
Try to import the attached dump files on an english operating system.

Thank you for the bug report. I could not repeat because MA only restore backups scripts generated by MA itself. Could you please provide the same backup file done by MA. Thanks in advance.
