Description:
After running a SQL script via MySQLCC, all text in the interface turns into boxes. I assume that an incorrect font or language has somehow been selected, though there are no such commands in the script as far as I know. This problem is fairly severe because once this happens, unless you have the menus memorized, you can't do anything. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the CC, and the probelm remains. It would help if I knew where the configuration files were stored, though I can't be sure that would fix it either. This problem only affects the CC. No other programs on the machine are affected.

How to repeat:
Import of a particular .sql file. I can supply this file to a developer if they wish to work on this.

Suggested fix:
1) Provide a way to specify language settings (something that I believe many other people have been interested in), and provide access to a config file, so that this could at least be fixed manually.

and/or,

2) See why it happened and prevent it.

Hi!

MySQLCC's config files are stored in USR_DIR/.mysqlcc/mysqlcc.cfg

Can you please delete this file and see if that fixes the problem ?

Thanks a lot,

Jorge

Hi!

MySQLCC has been discontinued and will not be developed nor maintained anymore with the exception of Critical bugs.

In the near future we will release the substitute of MySQLCC called MySQL Query Browser.
