Description:
Frequently I experience problems that Windows installer from MySQL AB fail to install on Vista. The installer is 'knocked down' by Windows 'data execution prevention'.

I will upload aa few images and continue ...

How to repeat:
to be continued ..

Suggested fix:
I think this is *not a real bug* with software from MySQL AB. Maybe a Vista bug. But frequently I need to isntall 5-10 times (and even reboot some times) before isntallation is possible. I do not experience this with other softwares from other vendors.

There are a few more complaints about the same in this system!

If MySQL AB *seriously* want to support Windows they should be *on the toe* to learn new windows 'features' at 'beta-time' - and not 2 years after FINAL releases of new Windows versions.

My Windows is configured for Danish .. but I think you will understand.

I know by experience that after 15-20 attempts and 2-5 reboots it will finally install (though no success yet!)

No matter if this is a bug in Windows or some other installed software causing this, it should be fixed. ONLY SOFTWARE FROM MYSQL AB does this!

I am verifying because occasionally happened while installing on Vista Ultimate Portuguese version, however I was able to install in the second tentative.

It has not been a problem for quite some time for me and I have not seen other reports of same lately.

Maybe now it should be marked as "can't repeat" ?
