Description:
I am trying to create a new database (structure and data included) using a SQL script. This SQL script is 157Mb in size. As soon as a I try to load this SQL script, the computer slows way down, the screen refresh stops responding properly, and the Control Center itself seems to stop responding. If I leave the Control Center alone as the only task with the current focus, after about two minutes the Control Center literally disappears without a warning, message, error, blue screen, or GPF.

How to repeat:
Occurs everytime I have tried to load SQL script.

Suggested fix:
I believe loading my script is too much of a drain on my system resources for the application to function properly. For very large scripts, maybe you shouldn't load them into memory and allow the option to just execute them directly.

I used the command line to run the script and everything worked fine (except for some small errors the MySQL didn't like the DROP <table> command).

Hi!

MySQLCC has been discontinued and will not be developed nor maintained anymore with the exception of Critical bugs.

In the near future we will release the substitute of MySQLCC called MySQL Query Browser.
