Description:
This product is nice, but a constant annoyonance when working with it is having it tell you that the server has gone away. It would be nice if it reconnected automatically like the command line version does.

How to repeat:
Open a connection.

Open the "Query Window".

Wait a few minutes.

Try to reissue a sql statement, if your server timeout has elapsed, you will get a "Lost connection to MySQL server during query" message.

Suggested fix:
Instead of just displaying the message, it should attempt to reconnect like the command line mysql does.

Thank you for your interest in the MySQL graphical administration tools.
We recommend that you use our MySQL Administrator and MySQL Query
Browser. The MySQLGUI and MySQL Command Center legacy products are
deprecated, and we are no longer maintaining those projects.
