Hi! We've actually had this on the roadmap for a short while now. We've spent the last week or so integrating the authentication system with a central REST API with the mysql.com domains. It is on the roadmap eventually to implement an openID server on mysql.com. Thanks for the suggestion! We'll definitely get to it, hopefully sooner than later!

Hi Jay, I'm happy to see that MySQL is considering running it's own openID server.
