Description:
I would like to have the option of logging in using openID, and I'm sure other users would like this option as well.

How to repeat:
See Description

Suggested fix:
Once the code for the new forge is available (I think I read on some blog that it would), I'll be able suggest how to implement it.

Hi! We've actually had this on the roadmap for a short while now. We've spent the last week or so integrating the authentication system with a central REST API with the mysql.com domains. It is on the roadmap eventually to implement an openID server on mysql.com. Thanks for the suggestion! We'll definitely get to it, hopefully sooner than later!

Hi Jay,

I'm happy to see that MySQL is considering running it's own openID server.
