Description:
Table corruption errors are not getting logged in mysql error log file. we are repairing a table on the Master DB and that error was not logged to the mysqld.log file

Why do you think this is?

Would it be because log-error is only defined under [mysqld_safe] in the my.cnf file?

Should it also be defined under [mysqld] section?

Please advise.

Dinesh

How to repeat:
every time the table gets corrupted and we used to repair those tables. To see when this happened we checked the log file.It couldn't help us.
