Description:
I down loaded the Workbench and installed - it installed correctly. 

I launched the product from the MySQL Tools Folder from Program Files.  

Added a new EER.  New workspace sheet view displayed.  I then added an entity and it took it without errors but fails to show on the work space. Added others entities with same result.  

Model Navigator shows them on the workspace.  I can position my workspace over the items but they do not display. 

How to repeat:
This error might be related to Vista Business so you would need to be on a Machine running Vista Business.  

1 down loaded the Workbench and install 
2 Launch MySQL Workbench  
3 Click on the EER Diagram icon for new
4 Click on Place a new Table - tool
5 drag and click onto the diagram workspace. 

You should see no table entitiy. But it will be visible in the Model Navigator.
