Using Query Broswer prevent from edit data records.

I was using an older setup version before:
-mysql-administrator-1.1.9-win
-mysql-query-browser-1.1.20-win
-mysql-essential-5.0.24-win32
Well, here it works...as a workaround I have to downgrade my GUI tools

How to repeat:
o open Query Broswer with privileged user --- root.
o drag / drop an arbitrary table into to the result field in browser.
o select a arbitrary data record to edit.
o the EDIT command is now always inactive near status bar (at the bottom of the browser).

Thank you for the bug report. Could you please provide the dump file of one
the tables which presents that behavior?. Thanks in advance.

Miguel,

I have McAFee 8.5i installed on my PC. If I stop this service "McAFee McShield" I never get this error message again. But without any protection this is not recommended.

Can you provide a reasonable workaround to solve this problem?

Thank you for the feedback. I have installed version SecurityCenter 8.0 of McAfee
and I don't have problems, what I recommend you to contact McAfee support and
ask them the procedure to allow a local application to connect using TCP/IP
protocol or just describe that behavior.

Now I have the resolution for ths specific problem + McAFee...

Resolution:
1. Open "VirusScan Console"
2. Select Task [Access Scanner]
3. Select [Properties]
4. Select [Dedection]
5. In group [What to scan] change from option [All files] to [Default + additional file types] and check the option [Also scan for macros in all files]
6. Select [Apply]
