Description:
The "Advanced" tab options are accessible but changes to them have no effect in the OSS version.

How to repeat:
Go to Tools->Options and choose the "Advanced" tab. Change the DefaultConnectionNotation to "classic". Create a relationship between two tables. The notation is still the default, crow's feet.

Suggested fix:
Grey out this tab or enable any changes made.

as the connections only can be changed model-based this default value should be applied to all newly created diagrams. But that doesn't work also.

The advanced Tab is not present in 5.1 anymore, therefore I'm closing this bug.
