Description:
The FAQ says to do the following:

  gunzip -c mysql-administrator-x.x.x-alpha-linux.tar.gz | tar xv -C /opt

When I did that, I found that it would not run, and noticed that the directory structure was /opt/opt/mysql-admin...

I ran

  gunzip -c mysql-administrator-x.x.x-alpha-linux.tar.gz | tar xv -C /

without the "opt", and the application works as advertised.

How to repeat:
Install on SuSe as described in the FAQ

Suggested fix:
Just modify the FAQ for at least SUse 9.0
