Description:
When building MySQL 5.0.51a on Debian unstable with gcc 4.3 (trunk revision 131882), the testsuite fails with a timeout during ndb_alter_table test:

ndb_alter_table                [ fail ]  timeout

How to repeat:
Build MySQL with gcc 4.3 and run the testsuite.

Logfile master.log, timeout occurs during last insert statement.

The timeout doesn't occur when using BUILD/compile-pentium-debug-max on 5.0.51a to compile.

I'll take a closer look at the problem next weekend.

Bug #32357 was closed in version 5.0.54, so fix should be available in Community version now. Please test if your case is repeatable with version 5.0.67.
