Description:
The Mysql .net connector installer doesn't work when is already installed the version 5.1.2.2. Uninstalling before the connector 5.1.2.2, when the user try to install the new .net connector the system display a message that inform the user that a connector newer is already present on the system. So the installation fails.

How to repeat:
Install connector /NET 5.1.2.2. 
Remove the connector 5.1.2.2.
Run MySql.Data.msi for version 5.1.4.

Hi Luc and thanks for your report. I believe this is a known problem but will have to check out.

I installed 5.1.22 in a windows xp vm, then tried to install 5.1.4 (got the error that an existing product is already installed).  Uninstall 5.1.22, and then the install of 5.1.4 proceeded properly.  I then uninstall 5.1.4, resinstalled 5.1.22, and then uninstalled again.

no issues.
