Thank you for the bug report. Could you please provide a screen-shot of the behavior reported. I wasn't able to repeat.

I'm noticing that after starting the application, on only loading a project or importing a DB4 project the first time I can sometimes see the true images for a fraction of a second before each object turns to a black square. Clearing the project and loading in the same or another project never reveals the trues images again...seems only to be visible on the first load. It probably always happens but may be to fast to see. I'll keep playing.

Thank you for the feedback. Still I am not able to repeat when loading your project file, maybe this is hardware related and then not happens on my side. Please try to identify if exist a condition to happen that and repeatable all the time. Thanks in advance.

I installed workbench on another pc with the same motherboard and drivers, same results. Images always show as black squares with the exception of loading the first project, any project, where the true images show for only a fraction of a second before becoming black squares. I noticed when moving the slide bar on the Model Navigator to the far left (min 10%) and back to about 50-60% numerous times it creates distorted shapes. I included picture "wild_movements.bmp" as one of the many odd displays. It seems 17% zoom is the lowest non-distorted picture. I only mention this because one of the first times I tried this the true images showed through. Picture "samp_db4_before.bmp", you can see the distortion on the left but the true image everywhere else. Alt-TABing to another application did not change the display, but moving the canvas with the PAGE-UP-DOWN bar (mouse click) did refresh the screen back to it's normal all black squares as shown in picture "samp_db4_after.bmp". It takes a long time to reproduce this, I only got lucky on the first attempt.

This one seems to be a little more repeatable. I re-docked the Model Navigator, the image is it's usual all black squares, I then grabbed the horizontal split pane bar and dragged it down a little, when I released it the true images show up "docked_nav_before.bmp". I then clicked on the canvas and the images went black "docked_nav_after.bmp".

A left docked navigator seems to have major painting issues. If I resize by moving the vertical split pane bar the canvas goes completely black "left_docking.bmp". The black squares image will reappear if I move the mouse over where one of the objects should be or ALT-TAB or just move application window.

I believe the problem is the NVIDIA driver. I tried the newest beta driver without any improvement, then tried the oldest fully supported OpenGL 1.5 driver...it worked with some slowness and minor visibility issues. Then worked my up to the highest working driver I can find, version: ForceWare Release 80 Version: 84.21 Thank you for your efforts, Ed
