I have tried to install several dist. but I get the same error dialog. I get it to work in winXP but not in Linux Mandrake.

"Can't show connection dialog.
Software installation might be incorrect or corrupted."

Maybe it's me doing something wrong??

How to repeat:
download GZ, unpack and run in Mandrake?

The connection dialog xml file is not found obviously.
You have to install the software into /opt.

gunzip -c mysql-administrator-1.0.0a-alpha-linux.tar.gz | tar xv -C /opt
The application binary will be installed in /opt/mysql-administrator/bin,
from where you can execute 'mysql-administrator' to start the application.
