Description:
There is (what I believe to be) a simple typo in the MySQL Userguide. In section 25.3, The Slow Query Log (http://dev.mysql.com/doc/userguide/en/logfiles-slow-query-log.html), the second paragraph says to type slog_slow_queries instead of log_slow_queries in the server option file.

I put slog_slow_queries in my config file and the server would not start.

How to repeat:
Go to http://dev.mysql.com/doc/userguide/en/logfiles-slow-query-log.html and read the second paragraph.

Suggested fix:
Change to log_slow_queries.
